This is always the most awkward part - talking about yourself... but I know if I'm asking you to fork out hard earned cash to attend my bootcamp, you're going to want to know there's someone reputable teaching it.
So here goes...
In April of 2016 I started a new ecommerce store with a focus on dropshipping (this means selling products that I'm not fulfilling myself). I was working full-time as the director of sales development at a great medical software company. Despite having an amazing job (six figures) and working with great people, I knew I wanted to be my own boss and see how far I could go on my own.
The store started off slowly, and we learned things on our own by testing, failing and trying over and over.
We primarily marketed our store through Facebook, which is what I believe to be the world's best ad platform for ecommerce. Facebook is a complex system and can be super touchy if you don't know what you're doing.
We learned the hard way, but after about a year, the store was doing really well. We had over $50k months and felt like we really knew the process. It was just time to scale things out.
If you've ever worked full-time, you know it can be hard to do a side-project well and still perform at work. I ran into a point where I couldn't honestly do either one to my fullest capacity.
In October of 2017, I took the leap.
My first month on my own, I did over $100,000 in sales.
Then $150,000 in sales the next month.
At the end of the my first year on my own, I did $800,000 as a solo shop.
Everyone needs a mentor in business and in life. My true passion is teaching others what I know and seeing them succeed. I just get way more fulfillment from it.
That's why I started Anchor Point.
Anchor Point isn't ever going to be my main gig. I'm still running multiple stores and a new Facebook ad agency. But if I can do a few bootcamps a year, make them SUPER valuable and packed with actionable content (click-by-click steps), I know I can empower others to also take the leap and fully support themselves with just a laptop and an internet connection.
This is the course I wish I had when I first started. It would have saved me THOUSANDS of dollars in Facebook advertising and a healthy portion of blood, sweat & tears.
Here's some screenshots of our success (gotta show proof, right?):
